Agent Tips

  • Sip a glass of wine in a local vineyard, savor a traditional lunch in a secret place, or experience the thrill of the sea at night escorted by local fishermen – every experience at Borgo Egnazia is designed to capture the essence and beauty of Puglia in an authentic, unfiltered way.
Rooms + Suites

Cozy rooms, traditional townhouses, and magnificent villas.

Imagined by artist and designer Pino Brescia, Borgo Egnazia is a contemporary interpretation of Puglian architecture. The property was inspired by the simplicity of Puglia’s ancient farmhouses and rural villages, built entirely of “tufo”, the rough typical limestone, and local stones cut by the skilled hands of stone masters. Three accommodation types are offered: La Corte includes sixty-three refined and cozy rooms, Il Borgo consists of ninety-two rooms and traditional townhouses, and Le Case presents twenty-seven welcoming villas, plus one sophisticated “Casa Padronale." Each differing in size and scope, the spaces beautifully balance tradition and simplicity with innovation and grandeur.

Divided into three distinct areas, La Emma offers a living space with a comfortable sofa, two cozy bedrooms, and two large bathrooms with stone showers and bathtubs. The gardens and private patio with a pool, enveloped by the fragrance of orange blossoms and lemons, create the perfect setting for an intimate stay within the Corte area, just a few steps from the Borgo and its charming Piazza. La Emma covers 2088 square feet / 194 square meters with a suite and junior suite connected to each other, and it can accommodate up to four guests, plus two children (up to twelve years old).
Pool + Gym

One of the best golf clubs in Italy.

Borgo Egnazia offers four outdoor pools enveloped in local white stone and surrounded by the beauty of the Mediterranean gardens. Guests can enjoy peaceful moments or special bonding time, with two pools dedicated to kids and their families. The hotel also features a heated indoor pool with changing rooms, an outdoor sauna, a sanarium, a steam bath, and an ice fountain.

Wellness opportunities abound at Borgo Egnazia, which features seven sports fields including three tennis courts, three padel courts, and a football field. The spa offers a fitness area with a gym, and in June 2021, the first outdoor gym was created in collaboration with Technogym – an innovative project promoting safe outdoor exercise for all ages and levels of fitness. Lovers of water sports will delight in the fully equipped private beach of Cala Masciola, which offers wake surfing, windsurfing, wakeboarding, water skiing, sailing, snorkeling, and stand-up paddleboarding. San Domenico Golf is a gorgeous eighteen-hole course, located where the Puglian countryside meets the Adriatic Sea. With strategically placed bunkers, an intricate design, and sea views from every hole, this prestigious course has established itself as one of the best golf clubs in Italy and a well-known stage for important national and international tournaments.
Spa

Rebalance your personal compass.

Vair (in local dialect meaning "true") is an unparalleled Puglian Spa nestled in the heart of Borgo Egnazia. Inspired by the "Science of Happiness," experiences here are guided by an amazing team of talented therapist-artists, musicians, and local dancers and are meant to rebalance your personal compass and spark renewed joy. Enjoy the spa's wet area, beauty area with a Nail Lab, and Roman Baths inspired by Puglia's ancient and authentic land, the beauty of its olive trees, and the power of the sea breeze.
Restaurant + Bar

Flavors and experiences for guests of all ages.

Due Camini is the hotel's gourmet Michelin-star restaurant that combines Mediterranean tradition and contemporary creations, offering menus that highlight regional agriculture, raw materials, and local suppliers. La Calce is a vegetarian restaurant presenting simple, traditional Puglian dishes derived from a mainly plant-based farming culture. Genuine dishes from Puglia can also be enjoyed at La Frasca, a trattoria in the heart of the hotel that celebrates the deep rural roots of the local cuisine, while Cala Masciola is a charming restaurant by the sea where you can taste the catch of the day. A Pizzerì is Borgo Egnazia's outdoor pizzeria; From May through September, you can enjoy wood-oven pizzas under the starry sky, accompanied by live music and a selection of seasonal drinks. Lastly, younger travelers will love Da Frisella, a magical restaurant dedicated entirely to kids! This timeless spot promotes fun and healthy eating, with every detail designed for children from the chairs to the tables and the menus.

Bar del Portico is Borgo Egnazia's elegant cocktail bar presenting innovative and classic cocktails with an exclusive Puglian touch. The EGNAZIA Vermouth Rosso is not to be missed – it is the first Puglian vermouth created amongst the thousand-year-old olive trees and white walls of Borgo Egnazia. Il Capanno e L’Angoletto is a poolside bar offering snacks, juices, and smoothies at lunch and fresh cocktails at sunset. For younger guests, there is nothing better than "L'Angoletto", the bar overlooking the Borgo pools, where you can choose from a selection of tasty snacks and seasonal fruit.
