Kaban is the poolside restaurant offering breakfast, lunch and dinner, but the menu is changing daily based on what is fresh, so no worries that you would tire of it. The word Kaban represents earth and duality, it symbolizes the mind of man with the intelligence of the planet. Start the day with a classic Mexican breakfast or your favorite international specialties.
For lunch and dinner, Kaban is the dream of sea lovers. Its beautiful floors, created to mimic the beautiful mangrove and its decoration, create a harmonious interior that flows into the pool area for a perfect culinary experience. Discover fresh seafood prepared as a trip through the coasts of Mexico, from the Pacific to the Mayan Riviera, a memorable culinary adventure. Flat breads, risottos, salads and pasta that can be enjoyed in an elegant experience, in Kaban or directly to your favorite place near the pool.
Bu’ul is the Mayan word used to name the beans of the field, which have been for centuries, along with corn, the culinary base of Mexico. Corn and beans, the fruits of the earth, are the basis and inspiration of Jorge Vallejo’s
cuisine. Bu´ul makes a nod to the cuisine of the Yucatan Peninsula. The gastronomy of this region is undoubtedly one of the bastions of Mexico’s culinary heritage.
Exquisite, original and diverse, not only has value as a traditional recipe, but it is one of the main sources of inspiration for young chefs, both for the cooking techniques as for the products that define it. We will integrate ingredients from different places in the menu: the Mayan octopus, the local fishing, the fruits of the Mexican Caribbean, as well as other products that form part of the diversity of the península. We seek through this proposal not only to spread the flavors of the region, but to please the guests from a context of rest, pleasure and wellness.Emyr Thomas
The afternoon and the sea merge to create an intimate moment, ideal for conversation, for sharing. It is easy to meet at Raw Bar by Bu’ul, a terrace in the Riviera Maya. Wines, cocktails and mixtures with clams, oysters, prawns,
shrimps and crabs, some raw and others grilled, served cold, accompanied by baked rice or green leaves, with sauces created by the chef. Everything is created to share, promoting the surprise and conversation.
Bonus points for those with dietary requirements (like me): They can do vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and are happy to work with guests to ensure their preferences are customized.Tera Muellerleile

So many choices where to enjoy your favorite tequila cocktail! Belly up to the bar on the beach, have drinks delivered poolside, or catch the sunset on the rooftop at Raw. Their mixologists get creative and I wouldn’t hesitate to let them surprise you.
There is no shortage of things to do at this wellness-centric property. From morning yoga class to paddleboarding, kayaking, diving or a snorkel reef tour active travelers can stay busy. Or, if you prefer a more cultural experience, there is a “Sea & Corn Ritual” (an offering for the abundance of a good harvest), “Chi Chi’s Recipes” (a class teaching you some sacred family recipes) or “Guided Hidrotherapy” (a practice about the healing benefits of water).
If guests are interested in something more relaxed, watch the sunset savoring some of the mixologist’s courtesy cocktail of the day at the Raw Bar. Private Cheese and Wine Tastings can also be arranged. More interested in the harder stuff? No problem. Set up an Agave Spirits Tasting to taste different liquors from all over Mexico with the on-property specialist.
