At COMO Uma Ubud, the 46 rooms, suites and villas exude the charm of a traditional Indonesian village. Guests will enjoy sleek, light-filled spaces with all the conveniences and comforts of a modern resort. Entirely residential in feeling, Uma Ubud has the atmosphere of a rural hillside home.

Narrow paths defined by tall, lushly planted walls lead between rooms and suites, each of which have their own tropical garden. Large windows and indigenous materials both inside and out bring the natural landscape in, from the generously-sized bedrooms and black and white bathrooms to the landscaped courtyards and infinity plunge pools. Kemiri’s menu revives traditional Indonesian dishes while also offering contemporary interpretations of the cuisines of neighboring countries. In addition to Asian dishes, Uma Cucina, is the restaurant and lounge bar with a street-side setting at the front of COMO Uma Ubud serves Italian-inspired food.

There is also the healthy COMO Shambhala Cuisine for those who like lighter, nutritionally rich menus and a special children’s menu offering for younger palates. The weekly dining program introduces guests and locals to special menus and traditional performances at the resort. One of the highlights include Monday's Balinese barbecue with smoky cocktails at Uma Bar.

The poolside Uma Bar spills out from a cool lounging area, open from 10am to midnight. The staff are cocktail specialists, creating both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks like healthy smoothies and fresh-pressed fruit juices. Throughout the day they serve fine wines, Champagnes and their signature Martinis, in addition to light meals. Great background music sets the simple, easy-going vibe.
