Property Overview

Elizabeth Unique Hotel occupies a noble palazzo in Rome's Tridente, one of the city's most storied neighborhoods just steps from Via del Corso, the Villa Borghese, and some of the finest baroque churches in the capital. The interiors were designed by Studio Marincola Architects around two distinctly Roman references: the tradition of the arch and the etching art of the nineteenth-century Grand Tour. The philosophy here is to be attentive rather than showy, the staff aiming to fulfill your desires before they're expressed with discreet and considered service.

Accommodations

Individual character with original artwork.

All rooms at Elizabeth Unique Hotel are individually designed, with interiors that draw on Roman archival and artistic traditions. Walls in many rooms feature commissioned works curated by the Russo Art Gallery, and your sleep quality is taken seriously: mattresses are custom-made by Dorelan, and pillows can be configured to personal preference. The complimentary minibars are stocked with Italian delicacies, amenities are by Laura Tonatto, and linens are fine cotton and silk. A tablet with a dedicated concierge service is available in every room.
Spa

Private hammams, Jacuzzis, and in-room treatments on request.

Rather than a dedicated spa floor, Elizabeth Unique Hotel takes a more intimate approach, with select suites coming with their own private spa, including a hammam, a Jacuzzi for two, and a cascade shower. Other suites include a private sauna. In-room massage and treatment services are available on request.
Restaurant + Bar

Southern Italian roots in a Roman setting.

DonnaE Bistrot is the gastronomic project at Elizabeth Unique Hotel, led by executive chef Riccardo Pepe, whose cooking draws on his southern Italian roots while moving fluidly through the wider Italian canon. Breakfast is more ambitious than most—expect Patanegra, Cantabrian anchovies, caviar alongside the more familiar focaccia, pastries, and egg dishes. Lunch and dinner menus build around combinations like roasted octopus on black bean cream and grilled Pezzente sausage on cereal toast. Every weekend, brunch brings cacio e pepe with crusco pepper, sweet and savory maritozzi, Lucanian cured meats, and a full spread of both savory and sweet.

The wine program at the restaurant's bar centers on Enrico Serafino, a Piedmontese producer founded in 1878 in Canale d'Alba and one of the first wineries in the region to work with traditional method sparkling wines, including its celebrated underground-cellared cuvées.
  • Vibe
Quiet and refined, with a strong Roman character.
  • Who's it for?
We love Elizabeth Unique Hotel for couples and solo travelers who want to be in the center of Rome without feeling like they're in a tourist hotel, and for city lovers who take art, food, and neighborhood life seriously. Families are welcome, though the intimate scale and design-led atmosphere make it a stronger fit for older children and teenagers.
  • Location
The hotel sits in the Tridente, one of Rome's most layered and walkable neighborhoods. Via del Corso, the Villa Borghese, and the Pincian Hill are all within easy reach on foot. Santa Maria del Popolo, home to two Caravaggio masterpieces, The Conversion of St. Paul and The Crucifixion of St. Peter, is also a short walk away, as are the baroque interiors of San Giacomo, Gesù e Maria, and Santi Ambrogio e Carlo. Via delle Colonnette, once home to the sculptor Canova's studio, is just around the corner.
