Property Overview

InterContinental Chantilly Château Mont Royal was built at the turn of the last century by composer Fernand Halphen, who commissioned architect Guillaume Tronchet to create a residence that celebrated his two great passions, music and hunting. The drawing rooms were dedicated to the former, the bas-reliefs on the façade to the latter, and the château sits on a wooded hillock in the heart of Chantilly Forest with views that haven't changed much since. The château is well placed for exploring one of the most historically rich corners of France, with the Château de Chantilly and its formal gardens, the Chantilly racetrack, and the medieval city of Senlis all close by, and plenty of hiking and riding to be done in the forest itself.
