Agent Tips

  • Beyond the lobby, walk through the garden path lined with ancient olive trees and the Menzeh pavilion to discover what feels like a hidden ice cream and pastry shop. This space feels like a little secret just waiting to be discovered.
  • Make sure your schedule in Marrakesh isn't too packed to actually spend time at the property. There is so much to do within the grounds of La Mamounia that it should be treated as an entirely separate component of your vacation.
  • Be sure to browse the boutique’s eclectic collection of gifts, which includes La Mamounia’s own brand of olive oil and orange marmalade.
Rooms + Suites

Deep colors and rich gold accents make this property feel super sexy.

With 209 rooms, suites and riads, guests have no shortage of options for accommodation when calling La Mamounia home. We love the Executive Park Suite with its spacious square footage, large closet, King-sized bed, luxurious bathtub and balcony with views of the gardens. Or, if guests are looking for even more lavish suites, there are spacious, uniquely designed accommodations inspired by landmarks in Morocco as well as famous guests. Some popular signature suites include the Majorelle Suite, Churchill Suite and grand Al Mamoun Suite.
Pool + Gym

Lounge by the pool or stay active-there's something for everyone!

La Mamounia offers a spacious outdoor pool with no shortage of loungers to call your own. Additionally, there is an indoor pool (yes, the one you've see on Instagram) and jacuzzi nearby the spa.

To keep on top of fitness regimes, guests have two gyms to choose from; one is located within the main building nearby the indoor pool and spa whereas the other is located out near the tennis courts. Private training sessions can be arranged. Or, for those who do want to play tennis, there is the option to partner with an instructor.
Spa

Enjoy traditional rituals.

A stay at La Mamounia isn't complete without a spa treatment at the 27,000-square foot facility. There are over 80 treatments offered, including a full-line of face and body therapies using products by Amala, marocMaroc and manicures and pedicures by La Ri. The Spa features a large indoor heated pool, Jacuzzi, nine treatment rooms, six outdoor massage cabins, a gym, two Hammams and a spa suite. One of our favorite treatments is a the "Royal Hammam," a luxe version of the traditional Hammam ritual followed by a massage.
Restaurants

Cuisine is an art at La Mamounia.

Guests are ensured a wide variety of options including casual dining, French, Italian and of course, Moroccan. Pavillon de la Piscine offers a wonderful breakfast poolside as well as an impressive Mediterranean buffet lunch. Le Français has a sophisticated menu of fine French cuisine where décor is complete with silk curtains, soft colors and warm marble to create a simple yet striking atmosphere that complements the fresh ingredients and authentic flavors of the dishes.

At L'Italien, guests will savor contemporary Italian cuisine prepared with seasonal ingredients, often from the hotel’s own organic vegetable garden. Two-Michelin-star chef Don Alfonso is the mastermind behind the exquisite menu at this intimate restaurant. The romantic terrace offers a beautiful setting for dining al fresco. Or, for more upscale Moroccan eats, Le Marocain is a beautiful riad concept set amid palm and olive trees on the hotel’s sprawling grounds. Discreet alcoves create an intimate atmosphere for enjoying the renowned menu of modern Moroccan cuisine, while a live trio plays Andalusian music in the background.
  • Bar
Check out the Le Bar Churchill, named after its most famous guest. The 1930’s style bar offers a jazzy and sexy atmosphere that's perfect for an after-dinner cocktail. We love anything on the signature cocktail list. Alternatively, there are bars at Le Morocain, L'Italien and the pool.
  • Who's it for?
The property is ideal for travelers who appreciate glamour, decadence and a 'seen and be seen' atmosphere. La Mamounia is a place to dress up, go out and make memories. We love it for the flashier side to Marrakesh.
  • Location
In the blissful shade of the Koutoubia minaret, and just a stone’s throw away from the famous Jamaa El Fna Square, La Mamounia resort stands, majestic and serene. Close enough to the mesmerising chaos of the medina, an intimate oasis of tranquillity and peace.
