Tucked among native trees and tropical foliage on Lovango’s north side, the Gym in the Jungle lets guests work out surrounded by the sights and sounds of the island. Equipment includes wooden dumbbells and barbells, Olympic lifting stations, weighted sandbags on bamboo bars, benches, wooden deadlift cages, and log lifts.

Lovango Resort + Beach Club offers two open-air restaurants centered around fresh, locally sourced seafood and Caribbean-inspired dishes. The Sandpit Grill keeps things casual with walk-up service, wood-fired flatbreads, bowls, wraps, salads, an ice cream bar, and signature cocktails. In the evening, The Waterfront Restaurant sets the scene for more intimate, candlelit dinners.

Lovango’s Bar overlooks St. John and the beach club and is open from eleven a.m. to ten p.m. Signature cocktails include the Painkiller and Watermelon Basil Margarita, best enjoyed while settling into the waterfront setting.
