Maison de la Luz is a fully private guest house located in the heart of New Orleans. A few blocks from the Vieux Carre, all spaces in the hotel, including parts of Bar Marilou, are for hotel guests only, making Maison de la Luz a quiet luxury respite. All guests are welcome to enjoy the neighborhood perks, including full access to the adjacent Ace Hotel’s amenities, including signing privileges at all of their outlets. Designed by celebrity interior designer Pamela Shamshiri, Maison de la Luz boasts 67 guest rooms and suites. The vast majority of rooms boast large bathrooms including separate shower and soaking tub, with a combination of both designed and vintage furniture in our beautiful appointed bedrooms and parlors. Chromecast enabled televisions in each room and bluetooth enabled speakers let you relax like you’re right at home.

The Breakfast Room is the a la carte private breakfast restaurant reserved for hotel guests only.
Bar Marilou is a collaboration between Atelier Ace and Quixotic Projects. Parisian group Quixotic Projects, known for it’s high-concept cocktail bars in le Marais, le Pigalle, and the chic Left Bank, bring their first U.S. bar to New Orleans in Bar Marilou. Served in a copper bird vessel, the “Postcard to Bangkok” is a refreshing favorite with Thai basil-infused vodka, génépi, lemon, coconut, and grapefruit spiced cordial.
