Michelin star dining paired with rooftop views of ancient Rome.
Aroma sits on the top floor of Palazzo Manfredi, its open-air terrace positioned directly above the Colosseum. Executive Chef Giuseppe Di Iorio's menu draws on the flavors and traditions of classic Italian and Mediterranean cooking, with fresh seafood, handmade pasta, and six varieties of bread baked daily, while sommelier Alessandro Crognale oversees a cellar of over 600 labels with a particular focus on Champagne. The restaurant is also available for exclusive hire for private events and wedding ceremonies; proposals can be arranged with roses, Champagne, and a ring delivered under a silver cloche, all with the Colosseum as a backdrop.
The Court is a rooftop cocktail bar tucked between the main palazzo and the adjacent Grand View Suites residence, with a panoramic terrace overlooking the Colosseum and the monuments of Imperial Rome. Bar manager Matteo Zed, whose career has taken him from Japan to New York, brings an international sensibility to the program, with signature cocktails including the Formidable, the Greener, a Cappuccino Negroni, and a Cacio e Pepe Vesper.
