Having been built in 1906 and witnessing world-changing decisions by British Prime Ministers including Lloyd-George, Kitchener, and Sir Winston Churchill, this prestigious, newly renovated hotel is now home to one hundred and twenty rooms and suites and an additional eighty-five private residences. Each room and suite at Raffles London has a unique story behind it. Inspired by classic Edwardian culture, the one hundred and twenty accommodations, including thirty-nine suites, are grand in both size and stature. The hotel’s eight Corner Suites, for example, offer sweeping views over Horse Guards and St. James’s Park. All are named after notable spies and other famous women, including Winston Churchill’s wife, Clementine, and Christian Lamb, a Wren intelligence officer who worked on the D-Day landing from Whitehall.

There are also five Heritage Suites – The Haldane, The Churchill, The Granville, The Turret, and The Raffles Suite – which are known for their iconic history as offices and can be reserved for boardroom meetings, small cocktail functions, or intimate weddings.

Wellness abounds at The OWO, extending from the Pillar facilities all the way to the iconic Guerlain Spa. Award-winning chef Mauro Colagreco has his own signature restaurant on the property, as well as Saison, a relaxed and contemporary Mediterranean restaurant, and Mauro’s Table, a more intimate and upscale space next door. Additional restaurants at Raffles London include The Drawing Room, a relaxed all-day dining lounge overlooking Horse Guards, and Pillar Kitchen, which creates personalized healthy meals as a part of the hotel’s wellness program.
Bar

From secret hideaways to Japanese traditions

The Guards Bar and Lounge is the hotel’s main bar, featuring a carefully curated menu of sixteen drinks that combine flavors from the East with traditional British ingredients. Over in The Spy Bar, guests can experience a surreptitious cocktail bar like no other. Paying homage to spies, secret forms of communication, and martini-hour rendezvous, The Spy Bar is located in a former interrogation room. Last but not least, Raffles London offers a Sake Bar by Creative Restaurant Group. Led by Michelin-starred Chef Patron Endo Kazutoshi, guests can experience this Japanese tradition by discovering authentic styles and flavors.
