Agent Tips

  • Don't miss Reschio's cooking school, Accademia di Cucina della Bottega, where you can learn how to create a variety of dishes and transform the best of the region's local produce into scrumptious Italian meals.
Rooms + Suites

Imbued with personality and panache.

The rooms and suites contained within Reschio's ancient castle walls are imbued with personality and panache, thanks to their contemporary design coupled with a discerning nod to the intriguing characters who once called this home. Scattered around the wild expanse of Reschio are seven magnificent houses available for rental. All are former farmhouses, once in ruins but now carefully and meticulously restored by the Bolza family. Paying homage to the original footprint of the farmhouses, each house is truly unique, yet they all sit amongst charming hills with undisturbed views of the pristine estate.

Situated within the heart of the castle, we especially adore the Grand Rooms. These rooms are spacious and relaxing, purposefully designed to encourage guests to slow down and enjoy the simple pleasures of being within their room. They are complete with custom designed furniture by ‘B.B. for Reschio’ including a four poster Campaign Bed (king-size), a bar, wash basin stand, and dressing table to complement the antique pieces. Some rooms are a little more quirky than others, but all contain history from the family that once lived here, from photographs to paintings and sculptures.
Pool

Nestled into the verdant lawns of the estate.

Located just outside the castle walls is the hotel's glittering outdoor pool, nestled into the verdant lawns of the estate. The water gently overflows the stone rim of the pool to the grass at its edge, while tall umbrella pines provide balmy shade. Showers and changing rooms are available beneath the deck of the adjacent Il Torrino, and another poolside deck offers a perfect front-row seat to the water. Leafy niches between the trees and around the gardens, meanwhile, offer more secluded spaces for families or couples.
Spa

A dreamy, otherworldly Bathhouse.

The castle’s ancient wine cellars have been transformed into a dreamy, otherworldly Bathhouse. Worn stone steps lead down to a tranquil sanctuary of therapeutic interconnecting spaces, offering holistic, nurturing treatments to soothe both body and soul. Inspired by ancient Roman baths, Reschio has partnered with a medical specialist to develop a unique combination of personalized treatments, each of which is utterly bespoke, focusing on your specific physical needs. From massages and facials to traditional bathing rituals, you are sure to emerge feeling relaxed and re-energized. Additional facilities include a spacious Hammam, traditional sauna, and a private gathering space within their original red wine cellar featuring a crackling fireplace, two “conversation” baths, two massage beds, a welcoming daybed, and a well-equipped tea kitchen and juice bar.
Restaurant + Bar

Learn to create a variety of dishes at the on-property cooking school.

Reschio Estate offers three on-property restaurants. Stop by Risorante Al Castello to soak up tranquil views with stunning sunsets and fig trees gloriously perfuming the terrace in summer. Step into the cool shade of Ristorante Alle Scuderie and take a seat amongst the lofty fern-trees, head out onto the broad terrace, or enjoy the master craftsmanship of Bar Centrale. Located next door to Ristorante Alle Scuderie, Reschio's cooking school, Accademia di Cucina della Bottega, will lead you on creative foraging walks in the grounds to pick whatever you desire, show you how to create a variety of dishes, and transform the best of the region's local produce into scrumptious Italian meals.
