Serene hideaway.

The resort offers twenty-three spacious accommodations including four deluxe rooms, four specialty suites, three riverside villas, six pool villas, and six luxury tents. Each of the resort’s guest housings is bordered by riverbank. The seventy-five-square-meter luxury tented villas include their own private dining areas and wrap-around decks. Lao tradition and French colonial style are sensitively woven throughout the design and architecture, including the use of indigenous materials and locally inspired artwork.

The oval-shaped pool is in the center of the property. Next to the natural waterfall, it is perched on a large open space behind The Great House including sunbeds and tent roof cabanas. Guests will feel a connection to the earth’s elements; the profound and natural healing practices transcend the ages. Drawing on locally harvested botanicals and other regional ingredients, the spa offers a range of unforgettable Laotian therapies designed to cleanse, replenish, and balance the body, mind and soul.

Locally sourced, farm-to-table.

With a strong influence from Laotian regional specialties, the menu truly embraces local culture. The food and beverage program supports the local community through a 'farm-to-the table' dining concept that emphasizes locally-sourced and seasonal foods. This concept enables the team here to create a restaurant immersed in local identity. With no pre-defined menu, the chef works with local farmers, visits the area's markets and prepares a daily changing menu according to the available ingredients. The wonderful organic kitchen garden at the property provides herbs and produce for much of the menu.

Where elephants once roamed.

The Elephant Bridge Bar honors the Luang Prabang's fourteenth-century roots, when the area was known as the 'Land of a Million Elephants.' Locally sourced herbs and spices are infused into classic cocktails in this rustic environment. Be sure to enjoy a locally-brewed Beer Lao; there's also a fun take on a margarita that we love!
