Property Overview

Singer Palace Hotel Roma has a story worth knowing. The building began its Roman life in 1930 as the Italian home of Singer sewing machines, where tailors once dressed the city's most elegant clientele. In 2018, the Visocchi family transformed it into a boutique hotel, weaving contemporary design through the historic bones of the building. The result is twenty-nine rooms and suites, including eleven suites and ten family configurations, in one of Rome's most walkable locations.

  • Jim's Bar on the palace rooftop is an ideal spot to watch the sunset over the city.
Accommodations

Authentic Italian meets Art Deco history.

Singer Palace's twenty-nine rooms and suites blend contemporary design with Art Deco detailing, giving each space a distinctly Italian character. Views look out over the inner courtyard or the surrounding streets of Via del Corso and Via Alessandro Specchi, offering a front-row seat to true Roman life. Soundproofed windows mean you get the atmosphere without the noise.
Restaurant + Bar

Mediterranean cuisine with a Roman touch.

Le Terrazze sits on the fifth floor, where Chef Alessandro Fiacco serves Mediterranean cuisine with a distinctly Roman sensibility. His love for local ingredients and tradition shine through on the menu, with a commitment to making everything in-house. The wine list doubles as a tour of Italy, with bottles sourced from regions across the country. Indoor and outdoor seating is available, and the terrace is softly lit and framed by greenery, looking out over the Roman rooftops. Open to outside guests as well as hotel visitors.

Jim's Bar sits open to the starry Roman sky, with rooftop views that make it a destination in its own right. Bar Manager Federica Geirola has designed the cocktail menu around the spirit of the 1920s, offering signature and classic drinks with a vintage sensibility. We especially love the "Un'ora Sola," a light, sparkling mix of Bombay Sapphire, lime juice, soda, basil, and homemade syrup.
  • Vibe
    Colorful, welcoming, stylish, and energetic.
  • Who's it for?
We recommend a stay at Singer Palace for first-time visitors to Rome who want to be at the center of everything, as well as couples marking a special occasion, since the rooftop bar and intimate scale of the hotel make it well-suited for a celebratory stay. Families are well accommodated too, with ten family room configurations and a location that puts the city's major sights within easy walking distance.
  • Location
Singer Palace sits squarely between the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon, with both just a few minutes on foot. The Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona, and the Colosseum are all within a ten- to fifteen-minute walk, making the whole of historic Rome essentially walkable from the front door. The building itself occupies a prime stretch of Via del Corso, one of Rome's great shopping streets, with Via Alessandro Specchi just alongside.
