Anchored with two marinas, the resort’s twenty-four villas and ten residences are ideal for marine and beach enthusiasts looking for an untouched tropical paradise where you find palm trees along the white sandy beaches and variations of its landscape from its volcanic origin. Resort Villas range in size from 1,200 to 1,600 square feet (110 to 150 square meters) including interior and exterior space. Stunning dark interiors use a rustic, grass cloth wallpaper to offer sun relief and keep temperatures down in resort villas where timber joins are wrapped with magimagi (fiber woven from coconut husk) to add a touch of Fijian tradition to the contemporary space. Outdoor bathrooms use local stone and vegetation to create a natural and lush setting for bathing, and stone pool tiles have been selected to mirror the brilliant blue of the ocean.

All facilities are designed to be 100 percent solar powered by the largest micro-grid in Fiji to use Tesla batteries. Developing in stages over the coming years, the will be sixty new 2-5-bedroom residences. These accommodations vary in size, averaging from approximately 600 to 1,000 square meters of interior and exterior space, all with private pools, fully equipped kitchens and sun decks, situated on the west-side of the island overlooking Vunabaka Bay.

Six Senses Spa Fiji is a contemporary interpretation of a traditional Fijian village. Surrounded by lush tropical jungle, its design embodies the Six Senses philosophy that well-being is crucially linked to the calm and rejuvenating benefits of nature.

It is entered via stepping stones leading to the arrival lounge where guests can find the Consultation Room, the Nail Bar, and the latest Six Senses retail collection. Those who prefer blending their own ingredients can visit the Alchemy Bar. There are also four treatment bures, fitness center, jungle gym, and a yoga and meditation pavilion.

Restaurants use fresh organic, locally produced, and sourced ingredients together with many from the resort’s herb garden and farm. With breakfast included in room rates, take your pick from a choice of meal plans available in all three of their dining venues. Additionally, the resort boasts a gourmet delicatessen and out-of-the-ordinary food and beverage experiences including private in-residence dining.

    Consistent with the commitment of the group, Six Senses Fiji develops sustainability within the resort and invites guests to share the responsibility to offset their carbon footprint. There are programs in place to conserve energy, and wherever possible packaging is kept to an absolute minimum, or is re-usable.

    Six Senses Fiji has one of the largest off-grid solar installations using Tesla Battery packs in the Southern Hemisphere. The resort collects rainwater, uses worm-based septic tanks and also has its own reverse osmosis plant and water refinery, producing high quality drinking water without the use of plastic bottles. A herb, fruit and vegetable garden supports the ultimate aim of self-sustained food and beverages on the island, drastically reducing the environmental footprint.
