Agent Tips

  • The Josper grill at their restaurant serves up incredible dishes from meat to fish and vegetables.
  • Various historical architectural layers are preserved throughout the building. For example, the 600-year-old columns and the 1,700-year-old baptism site dating from the 4th century can be seen from their ground floor. The main façade, which overlooks Via del Corso, has been restored back to its grand origins.
Rooms + Suites

Historical urban oasis.

This Six Senses hotel's Roman elements blend with Patricia Urquiola’s contemporary design vision within the ninety-six guest rooms and suites. Embellished by traditional Cocciopesto plaster and locally sourced Travertine limestone, interiors have been remodeled into a contemporary and airy style, with high ceilings, sustainable architecture, mixed patterns, and graphic elements throughout. These private sanctuaries are adorned with suspended plants and fully enveloped in natural light. Six Senses also ensures that all of its rooms are constructed to be consistent with LEED standards. This translates to the use of sustainable materials wherever possible, including flooring and millwork.

The Terrace Junior Suites offer a loft-style space complemented by a generously sized outdoor living area. Located on the third or fourth floor of the Palazzo, these rooms enjoy views over the quintessentially Roman historical neighborhood. Inside, they feature a spacious sitting area, a sofa, plus a king-size bed or two twin beds. There’s also a sofa and dining area for relaxing on the sun-filled terrace.
Pool + Gym

Thermodynamics inspired by ancient Roman practices help bring your body to equalization.

The hotel's three plunge pools are designed as nods to the ancient art of Roman bathing. The caldarium, tepidarium, and frigidarium utilize thermodynamics to help bring your body to equalization. There's also a state-of-the-art fitness center to help you keep up your routine, staffed with personal trainers who can help you create a new one fitted to your needs.

The Six Senses Spa features contemporary therapies like biohacking that optimize your body’s natural processes via cutting-edge technology. A truly sensory experience in a comfortable ambiance, you’ll feel the textures and smell the beautiful aromas of the fresh, seasonal, and organic ingredients. The spa also features a Hammam area, a sauna, meditation rooms, an outdoor yoga deck, a fitness center, and five treatment rooms (one for couples) where you can enjoy a Signature Cocoon or Dreamcatcher massage, among others. Private and group workshops are available.
Restaurant + Bar

Hotel guests and locals can come together for an authentic Roman experience.

BIVIUM Restaurant-Café-Bar features both casual and fine Roman dining all day long via their open kitchen concept. Designed by Patricia Urquiola as a buzzy and convivial lifestyle space, hotel guests and locals can come together for an authentic Roman experience filled with farm-raised, grass-fed meats, plant-based proteins, organic eggs, and line-caught fish. Within the piazza, enjoy their deli goods including a specialty coffee from Aroma bar, ceviche from Sapore, and artisan gelato from Delizie (it's sugar-free!), while relaxing on the low lounge-style chairs or communal gathering tables.

With its plants, terracotta pottery, and herb garden, the NOTOS Rooftop has a secret garden feel that makes you feel like entering the most exclusive party in town. Selection of cocktails named after the Roman emperors like the Nerone is based on vodka, espresso coffee, coffee liquor and "chinotto", and Chai honey mix.
  • Who's it for?
Wellness enthusiasts and those looking for an ultra-private stay in the Eternal City should definitely check out Six Senses Rome. Besides the hotel collection's emblematic take on wellness and sustainability, the hotel itself is a sight to behold being in a UNESCO heritage site. It's a truly secluded stay within the city that gives you an insider's look at the history behind this iconic destination.
  • Location
Guests will find Six Senses Rome uniquely positioned at the heart of the city, overlooking via del Corso, steps from the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain.
