Chic and intimate mountain chalet.

Sopris House includes three king rooms with en suite bathrooms along with a twin suite that has two full and two twin trundle beds. Each room has its own unique flair, like a pint-sized reading nook and a roll-top tub. The fully outfitted playroom is a kid’s favorite, while heated floors and steam showers throughout the house keep everyone’s taste for comfort satisfied.

Enjoy a revitalizing soak

Sitting on Sopris House’s private outdoor courtyard is a copper hot tub and a cold plunge pool, the most popular place to enjoy a revitalizing soak. They also have a sauna, perfect after a big day in the mountains.

Restaurants

A favorite amongst locals.

Crested Butte’s collection of restaurants is as quirky as the town itself. The Secret Stash, a notoriously funky pizza joint, is a favorite amongst locals and visitors. Staying in is just as flavorful, with chef-prepared pastries and dinners showcasing ingredients from local purveyors. In the wintertime, on-mountain cabins provide a cozy hideout amidst action-packed cat skiing days, welcoming guests with a Hot Toddy and winter squash soup served with a bite of melty grilled cheese.

Bar

The heart and soul of the property.

The Sopris Bar is the heart and soul of the property. This low-lit private bar is paneled in dark, rustic wood and kitted out with a vintage jukebox, pool table, and dartboard. The fun-loving space is animated with colorful Armada skis, 3D Grateful Dead art, an antique shot ski, and an autographed cymbal, reminding guests what Crested Butte is all about: good music and great skiing. An extensive selection of mixers is available to guests, who are asked to provide their own alcohol.
