Rooms + Suites

Mountainside rooms and beachfront bungalows.

Sugar Beach, A Viceroy Resort offers 105 rooms, suites, cottages and villas scattered along the mountainside and on the beach – fourteen of the rooms are directly on the beach in Beachfront Bungalows. The Sugar Mill Rooms, one of their more popular offerings, are beloved for their prime location next to the Main Building and Spa. Sugar Beach is also home to twenty-five residences with views of the water, perfect for families and couples.

We love their Deluxe Cottages comprised of traditional white decor with beautiful linens and a spacious layout. For those seeking something a bit more modern, they have a selection of four Deluxe Cottages that are more contemporary, as pictured.
Pool + Gym

Indoor and outdoor yoga areas.

Take advantage of the resort's stunning pool for a relaxing day in the sun. Many rooms have private plunge pools as well. The fitness center, built in 2021, has Peloton bikes and treadmills along with Technogym equipment, plus men's and women's changing rooms. Interested in yoga? There is a dedicated yoga studio along with an outside yoga area as well.
Spa

Immersed in the rainforest.

The Rainforest Spa at Sugar Beach is immersed in the rainforest, a serene oasis for pure relaxation and rejuvenation where guests can enjoy signature treatments paired with the sounds of nature. Ten treatment rooms are offered – six single rooms and four for couples – all perched in treehouses for a truly unique experience.
Restaurant + Bar

An impressive array of cuisines.

Sugar Beach has an impressive array of five restaurants on property. With one for breakfast only, one with an Asian inspired menu, one for fine dining and two nestled on the beach, there's no shortage of options.

The Saltwood Lounge is one of five bars on property. Located on the second floor of the Main Building, it is the perfect spot to watch the sunset before going to Saltwood Restaurant for dinner.
