Accommodations

Alpine authenticity meets Swiss elegance.

The Alpina Gstaad's fifty-six rooms and suites draw deeply from the region's heritage, a reflection of Alpine authenticity and Swiss elegance. Classically carved ceilings and timber-clad walls contrast with the leather headboards and Swiss farmhouse-style cupboards and chests, all of it working together to create a cozy, homey feel. The details run all the way through to the decorative leather cowbell straps, an iconic image of the Saanenland. The overall effect manages to feel both rooted in Alpine tradition and contemporary.
Pool + Gym

Indoor warmth and the outdoor Alps.

The Six Senses Spa features a large indoor pool alongside a year-round heated outdoor pool with Alpine views. The Six Senses fitness center is equipped with cardiovascular, strength, and weight training equipment, including the Kinesis apparatus, with professional instructors on hand. Yoga, Pilates, meditation, and group exercise classes are also available, along with personal training sessions and one-to-one wellness consultations. Access to the fitness center is restricted to guests sixteen and over.
Spa

The spirit of the Alps meets Eastern traditions.

The Six Senses Spa draws on Eastern wellness traditions and the energy of the surrounding Alps, with a warm, secluded atmosphere throughout. The facility includes a hammam, salt room, Oriental room, cave room, and six multi-functional treatment rooms offering everything from color therapy to colonic hydrotherapy. Couples can book treatments together, and three interconnecting rooms form a dedicated ladies-only area with private access to changing and wet facilities. Hydrotherapy experiences are available in both changing areas, including experience showers, ice fountains, and hot and cold plunge pools. Gentlemen have access to a sauna with color therapy; ladies can unwind in the saunarium or on heated water beds.
Restaurant + Bar

Restaurants worth the trip alone.

The Alpina Gstaad is home to two destination restaurants. Megu, led by Head Chef and Sushi Master Tsutomu Kugota, holds sixteen Gault Millau points and ranks among Switzerland's top Japanese restaurants. The interior, designed by Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance, weaves together antique kimonos, Alpine fir wood, vermillion accents, and slatted wood partitions inspired by Kyoto temples. The sake collection is one of the largest in Switzerland, alongside a carefully curated selection of Japanese whiskies. The Michelin-starred restaurant by Martin Göschel rounds out the fine dining offering, with three further dining options available on the property.

The Alpina Lounge sits at the heart of the hotel, serving craft and classic cocktails alongside a light lunch and dinner menu. Floor-to-ceiling windows connect the indoor space – fireplace included – to the outdoor terrace, keeping the Alpine panorama in view whatever the weather.
