The Datai Langkawi’s rooms, suites, and villas are tucked throughout the rainforest canopy, along the forest floor, and beside the beach. Each features a private balcony or terrace overlooking the rainforest, gardens, or coastline. Generous spaces and natural materials set an understated tone across the Canopy, Rainforest, and Beach Collections, while select villas add private pools and an even greater sense of seclusion.

Dining spans a range of settings and cuisines, from Malaysian dishes at The Gulai House, tucked within the rainforest in the style of a traditional kampung home, to Thai cooking at The Pavilion above the canopy. At The Dining Room, European techniques meet Asian influences and locally sourced ingredients, while The Beach Club serves relaxed, Mediterranean-inspired fare beside the sand. The open-air Lobby Lounge rounds things out with panoramic views, afternoon tea, and evening drinks.

The Lobby Lounge is a natural choice for an evening drink, with open-air views across the rainforest toward the Andaman Sea. Try The Butterfly, a signature cocktail combining gin, Cointreau, elderflower, citrus, and butterfly pea flower for a floral, refreshing finish and vivid natural color.
