Rooms + Suites

An atmosphere of relaxation and rejuvenation.

The rooms and suites at The Largo are bright and spacious, perfect for lounging after a long day of exploration. Designed by architect Frederico Valsassina with interiors by Space Copenhagen, hundreds of years of history, crafts, and traditions embedded within the architecture of the building are interwoven with a celebration of the contemporary. The Largo’s interiors have been conceived to inspire connection – between guests, hosts, and the local community, as well as the buildings themselves – and are underscored by an atmosphere of relaxation and rejuvenation.

We especially adore the Largo Suite – facing the vibrant and historical square of Largo de São Domingos, you can see the city through its French balconies. It has a separate living room with an in-room pantry, where you can find an array of soft drinks, kombuchas, homemade sodas, coffee, and an expansive tea selection. With a beautiful stand-up marble bathtub in the main bathroom and a rainforest walk-in shower, you have everything you need (and more!) for a comfortable stay.
Wellness

Three floors of fitness facilities.

The plunge pool is heated and located on the hotel's sixth floor terrace, with sweeping views of the city. The gym is exclusive to house guests and is available 24/7. Spread over three floors and equipped with Technogym machines, there is no shortage of opportunities here to keep up with your fitness routine. The Largo also has a personal trainer on-call, should you wish to organize a session.
Restaurant

Seamlessly merging Portuguese and global flavors.

Curated by critically-acclaimed chef Nuno Mendes, menus throughout The Largo are nourishing and playful. Sitting on the ground floor of the premises, Cozinha das Flores is an intimate and lively street-facing restaurant, open to all. Perched at the very top of The Largo’s five historic buildings is the terraço lounge and kitchen. Reserved exclusively for house guests and events, this space provides indoor and outdoor seating and dining with panoramic views of the cityscape. In this homey kitchen, Nuno and his team play at the intersection of Portuguese and global flavors, keeping the focus on local suppliers, seasonality, and simplicity.
Bar

Relaxed, al fresco dining and sipping.

Flôr is the hotel's neighborhood bar that offers relaxed, al fresco dining year-round. Here, pastries and speciality coffee are served in the morning before moving onto snacks and cocktails through the afternoon and evening.
  • Who's it for?
The Largo is ideal for culture lovers, food and wine enthusiasts, and celebrations, as well as for families (including multi-generational trips), romantic getaways, and executive trips.
  • Vibe
    Understated, timeless, convivial.
  • Location
The Largo is a quick walk from the Douro River in the beating heart of Porto, a city of picturesque painted houses huddled on hilly riverbanks. There are many ways to explore on foot, by bike, or by water. Spend your afternoon strolling through the narrow streets, lined with baroque churches and nineteenth-century merchants’ houses, before reaching The Largo at the foot of the bustling Rua das Flores.
