The Woodward

Geneva, Switzerland

"This hotel invites you to unwind in a plush Swiss lakeside mansion."

City Wellness Culture

The Woodward is Geneva’s first all-suite hotel on the shores of Lake Geneva, offering expansive views of Mont Blanc. Originally built in 1901 by French architect François Durel in a post-Haussmann style, the hotel is now completely transformed and carefully reimagined by world-renowned architect Pierre-Yves Rochon. With restaurants by Michelin-Starred L’Atelier Robuchon and vegetable-driven Le Jardinier by Alain Verzeroli – as well as the esteemed Guerlain Spa – The Woodward is truly Geneva’s lakeside home of haute living.

Highly personalized residential lake house.

Rooms + Suites

The twenty-six suites of The Woodward have been carefully crafted to possess their own individual design details. The Junior Suite is a perfect stay for business travelers, designed to be a soft and comfy stay. The Woodward Suite is a singular experience with panoramic views of the French Alps off their three balconies. Many of the suites offer a full view of the lake, and all have in-room minibars!

Pool + Gym

The Woodward provides access to the longest indoor swimming pool in all of Geneva, as well as a fitness area stocked with a selection of the finest gym equipment.

The Guerlain Spa at The Woodward features six treatment rooms, including one double room with a white onyx sink and an Italian marble shower. Guests have the freedom to choose from a jacuzzi, two steam rooms, two sauna, a snow shower, an ice bucket shower, and two Swedish baths. The Guerlain massage method blends traditional gestures and new techniques that leave you feeling deeply relaxed. Their signature Glamour Experiences like their Glamour in Geneva will leave you feeling and looking radiant.

L’Atelier Robuchon features an open kitchen concept, creating a theatrical dining experience for thirty-six guests seated around the counter. Here, guests can enjoy a range of French-and-Asian-inspired dishes, such as their Swiss beef and seared blue lobster. Meanwhile, Le Jardinier offers guests plant-based dishes created from French cooking techniques with a focus on local produce sourced from the city’s surrounding areas.

The Woodward houses two bars and a tea room. For cigar connoisseurs, we highly recommend visiting their cigar lounge built in the building’s former bank vault.

Who's it for?

The Woodward is perfect for people looking for a balance between work and play. Their all-suite facilities are ideal for business travelers that are looking for a stay that is conducive to both productivity and relaxation.

The Woodward is located on Quai Wilson right on the shores of Lake Léman with views of Mont Blanc.
