Agent Tips

  • Experience the Oltrarno area, the most authentic part of town with its little shops, bars and trattorias.
  • Do not miss a promenade along the Boboli Garden and Palazzo Pitti, once the residence of the Royal Family of Florence the Medici.
  • Be sure to try Executive Chef Alessandro Liberatore's “cacio e pepe." As he is from Forte dei Marmi, on the Tuscan Riviera, he adds a delicious creation of prawn tartare with lemon grass on top.
Rooms + Suites

A unique style on every floor of the Villa.

Villa Cora offers forty-three unique rooms and suites, each filled with history, refined details, and a cozy ambiance. Each floor of the Villa has its own style – "The Noble Floor" is known for its incredible paintings, while the "Rose Floor" pays homage to Princess Eugenie Bonaparte and her favorite flower. Villino Eugenia, one of Villa Cora's other buildings, is a small guesthouse overlooking the Boboli Gardens. Offering thirteen accommodations, this guesthouse has been decorated according to the bourgeois styles of the late nineteenth century with ceilings representing rare and exotic subjects. For those seeking a more intimate stay, the La Follie guesthouse is located at the edge of the park that surrounds Villa Cora and has just two charming rooms.

Located on “The Noble Floor” of the Villa, the Imperial Suite features two spacious bedrooms – one with a four-poster bed – two elegant bathrooms adorned with Carrara marble, and a cozy balcony overlooking Florence and the Villa's private garden. It is complete with antique furniture and original frescoes by Pietrasanta and Samoggia. Appropriately named and fit for royalty, the suite once welcomed the Japanese Emperor Akihito during his 1982 visit to Italy.
Pool + Gym

Florence's only pool heated throughout winter.

Villa Cora's exclusive pool is the only one in Florence heated in winter and open year-round. This 900-square-meter beauty lies within the hotel's Italian-style garden surrounded by majestic greenery. Over a hundred varieties of French, British, and ancient roses bloom in soft pastel hues, complemented by evergreen hedges.

A fitness room with Technogym equipment is available in the Spa BENé. Personal trainers are available on request, with bespoke training programs ranging from yoga and pilates to traditional workouts to contemporary training techniques.
Spa

A hidden oasis with exclusive signature treatments.

Accessible through an underground tunnel from the Villa, Spa BENé is a hidden oasis beneath the Villino Eugenia. Amenities include a tepidarium, sauna, steam bath, and Jacuzzi, plus three private cabins designated for beauty treatments, one of which is a duo cabin for couples' massages. Indulge in an Asian or European massage or opt for one of the spa's exclusive signature treatments by Natura Bissé, an independent, family-owned brand. Let advanced cosmetics, exclusive techniques, and pioneering technology take your well-being to new heights as you enjoy all Spa BENé has to offer.
Restaurant + Bar

The place to be, all year round.

Executive Chef Alessandro Liberatore showcases his culinary expertise at Le Bistrot Restaurant, preparing traditional Tuscan specialties with a modern twist. Using the finest seasonal ingredients, mainly locally sourced, the chef features iconic Italian dishes on the lunch menu while taking guests on a sophisticated gastronomic journey at dinner. During the summer, guests dine in the lush green setting by the pool, while in the winter, the restaurant relocates to the Moorish Room. Domed ceilings fill this Oriental-style space, complete with original frescoes by Antonio Caremmi.

The Santa Garden Cocktail Club is the hotel's hotspot, especially on summer evenings. This poolside joint is surrounded by the hotel's Italian garden and offers an array of must-try signature cocktails. Executive Chef Alessandro Liberatore has even crafted a vibrant summer menu for the ultimate cocktail experience. In the winter, Il Salotto del Santa is the place to be – this English-style bar is located in the Villa's basement, complete with large sofas embellished with green and gold velvet.
