Professional sports was Elizabeth’s first love, who also introduced her to her second love: the world of travel. Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Elizabeth took yearly trips to watch the SF Giants and 49ers play at stadiums across the States, giving her the opportunity to travel to a new city and explore everything it had to offer. This quickly transitioned into visiting new countries every year, with food as the main mode of discovery.

When she found herself in the heart of North Beach, moving into her first apartment, she made it her mission to discover which restaurants were worth a second visit, and even a third and fourth. To gain this knowledge, she dined at all 42 restaurants on Columbus Avenue over the course of a year. Now, she considers herself a bit of a foodie.

Before founding Club Z Travel and focusing on leisure travel, Elizabeth worked in corporate events, where she became comfortable planning trips and ensuring every detail was taken care of for hundreds of people. It was during this time that she also discovered how rewarding it is to make others feel rejuvenated through travel while listening to their needs and desires. Elizabeth brings that same level of attention to all of her clients, and she wants them to have confidence in her as their trusted advisor, knowing that she has handled everything for their unforgettable journeys.

What has been your most memorable travel experience to date?

My time in Huahine, French Polynesia comes to mind. It was the off-season, but the weather was still amazing. We stayed at a secluded resort that you reached by boat. During our stay, there was only one other couple on the property. We practically had the entire resort to ourselves. The hotel team was extremely friendly and accommodating. The villa we stayed in over the water was cozy, and being able to swim right off our deck was incredible.

Which destinations are you looking forward to visiting? Why?

The top two destinations currently on my list are New Zealand for its gorgeous scenery and unique adventure opportunities, and Greece for its breathtaking landscape and delicious cuisine.

Traveling throughout the United States summer after summer as her family explored cities and U.S. National Parks, Phyllis’s sense of adventure was fueled by her father’s wanderlust and hobbies as a nature photographer and innate outdoorsman. As Phyllis reached her formative years, she pursued a degree in Communications and got her start working in the entertainment industry at Universal Studios, ICM talent agency, and MTV Networks. Her experiences of working with high-profile clients honed her skills in what would eventually lead her to her passion: planning customized journies for discerning clients.

Phyllis is extremely detail-oriented, creative, and friendly, which ensures a deep relationship with her clients. She always begins new client inquiries with this basic question, “describe your travel style” as she finds the answer opens the doorway to her being able to create a tailor-made experience. What are your specialties?

As a Disney specialist, my areas of expertise predominantly lie within the U.S. but also extend to destinations that can be reached by cruise, including Europe with a keen focus on Italy. I’ve traveled extensively through these regions and extend my first-hand knowledge to my clients. I also know Israel extremely well!

The traveler who most enjoys my trips is one who thrives on details but doesn’t want to be the person actually ironing them out. My consultations begin with the basic question, “what’s your travel style?” With this information, I can begin to personalize every element of a client’s journey from the accommodations to dining suggestions to touring plans. My clients appreciate that they can outsource the overwhelming planning process of such a trip; when I complete the itinerary, it’s a reflection of how they wish to experience any Disney destination.

Whether we are sending them to Walt Disney World, matching them with a Disney cruise, choosing land excursions, or mapping out an Adventure by Disney, I’m the thread that weaves the magic together. My approach is rooted in personal service, around-the-clock support, attention-to-detail, and offering expert first-hand knowledge.
