A boutique design studio originally established in New York City, EAST SIX was founded in 2005 by Stacey Mui & Marina Marchisi. The two grew up together on Manhattanâs Upper East Side and have been best friends since they were six – hence the name!
Together they create beautiful custom designs that truly reflect the style, personality and vision of the couple and their wedding or event. EAST SIX works intimately with clients to design personalized paper accents for every detail of an occasion; imprinting the story and personality of each couple onto all facets of their stationery. In fall of 2012 they opened a second design studio in Los Angeles, taking them from east… to west!
Whenever we’re missing home, lunch (or brunch) at Fredâs at Barneys is always good for a little bit of NY in LA! Their patio is shaded and super comfy with gorgeous views and their vegan salad is amazing. Even though itâs right in the heart of Beverly Hills â itâs Barneys New York and reminds us of home!
Crossroads Kitchen
We are gluten-free, and have been since before it became a âtrendâ.  However, itâs always a factor when meeting friends for dinner or just dining out in general. We love Crossroads because it’s Vegan but also a totally sexy atmosphere with consistently delicious food! There are so many gluten-free options and their cocktails are incredible. The vibe, the crowd, the service â it is always a good choice!

Laurel Hardware is one of our favorite spots for fancy cocktails and a fun night out. The signage outside makes it look like an actual hardware store but once you’re inside you’ll find nothing but rustic-chic interior with moody lighting and outdoor seating brought to life with white tree lights.

Right on Santa Monica Blvd. you’ll find the newly renovated Doheny Room. With mix and match patterns, artsy photographs of pop culture icons, cozy seating and low-lit color lights around the bar, their renovation certainly brings a sexy ambiance that’s perfect for any cocktail outing.

HD Buttercup is a huge warehouse filled with ridiculously beautiful pieces of furniture. Itâs fun to walk through and get inspiration (and oftentimes ogle) . We are spoiled because shopping in New York doesnât compare to anywhere in the world BUT we love this small boutique called Tenoversix in West Hollywood. They have such interesting pieces and itâs a perfect spot to pick up a really special gift. They carry a great assortment of independent designers. As a small company ourselves, we love supporting our fellow small shops!

Studio City Farmers Market
Sundays 8-2pm rain or shine!
This is a fantastic weekly farmers market with all local vendors. You can buy steaks, tea leaves, strawberries and all other sorts of seasonal goodies. It is such a great place for families too! There is a little petting zoo set up for children and usually some small fun rides. Itâs a great way to stock up on fresh groceries AND entertain your kiddies.
The Groundlings
Saturday night imrov at The Groundlings â This theater company has been around for over 40 years and people like Will Ferrell, Lisa Kudrow, Kathy Griffin, Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy have all studied and performed there! Tickets for Saturday shows are usually about $20 and itâs about a 1.5 hour show. The shows are constantly changing and it is all improv so you kind of donât know what is going to happen. Except it will be hilarious and exciting.
