The Austin Hotel Roundup

Of all the luxury hotels in Austin, these are our hand-selected picks of the ones that fully immerse you in the cultural hotspot of the Lone Star state.

Also known as the Live Music Capital of the World®, Austin, Texas provides visitors and locals alike with an abundance of cultural adventures all year round. Its unique character also made it the perfect place for our SmartFlyer ONE celebration. While we were there, we visited four distinct properties this vibrant city has to offer. These residential estates-turned-boutique suites and glamorous highrises at the heart of the city are guaranteed to give the full scope of the place Austinites love to call home.

  1. Hotel Saint Cecilia
  2. Four Seasons Austin
  3. Fairmont Austin
  4. Commodore Perry Estate

Hotel Saint Cecilia

Hotel Saint Cecilia was originally built in 1888 as the Miller-Crockett house and is among the five remaining Victorian homes of twelve originally built along this stretch of the Colorado River. Each of this Austin luxury hotel’s five suites, six poolside bungalows, and three studios consequently embody old-world elegance. Additionally, the secluded property and lush grounds offer guests a calming sense of privacy from the heart of South Austin. Chiefly, Saint Cecilia’s 50-foot heated lap pool is their crowning jewel, open to guests twenty-four hours a day. Pop music history lovers will especially love how deeply music is integrated into this property. For example, all rooms and suites also offer Rega turntables and Geneva sound systems. Additionally, the hotel invites guests to borrow from their library of vintage LPs, rock biographies, and poetry anthologies.
