Rooms + Suites

Pastel-touched timeless elegance.

The forty-seven individually-appointed suites – many designed by Michael Smith – and twenty-seven deluxe rooms are appointed with the sophisticated elegance of a private New York apartment. Perfectly curated books adorn the coffee table and bookshelves, while original wood-burning fireplaces, gourmet kitchens, and impressive terraces with panoramic Manhattan views make each suite unique. We especially adore the five specialty suites and the Penthouse perched on the seventeenth floor.

The Garden Suite is one of the hotel's Specialty Suites and offers north-facing views and two landscaped terraces. One features enough seating to comfortably seat five guests, with the sounds of a trickling fountain in the background, and the other offers a four-person dining table perfect for a magnificent al-fresco meal.
Wellness

Cardio machines, resistance training equipment, and more.

The Lowell's twenty-four-hour fitness center features a selection of cardio machines including a Peloton bike, treadmills, an elliptical trainer, and a reclining stationary bike. Resistance training equipment includes a universal weight machine with upper and lower body pulleys, and a dumbbell set ranging from five to fifty pounds is available as well. Medicine balls, yoga and floor mats round out the equipment. Fuel your body pre- or post-workout with complimentary sports drinks, chilled and room-temperature waters, and fresh fruit.
Restaurant

Embark on a unique culinary journey.

The Lowell offers several unique dining experiences that will take guests on a unique culinary journey from start to finish. For breakfast and weekend brunch, The Pembroke Room is offered exclusively to hotel guests. European-inspired, it boasts a beautiful terrace. Majorelle – inspired by the Majorelle gardens in Marrakesh – serves seasonal French cuisine with Mediterranean influences. The gardens are complete with exquisite floral bouquets, lush plantings and orange trees, fountains, and a fireplace for year-round enjoyment. For a more relaxed ambiance, The Club Room is the hotel's lounge furnished with comfortable seating alcoves, a fireplace, magnificent works of art, and curated bookshelves. It's the perfect spot to savor a drink or meal or to curl up with a good book.
Bar

An iconic New York hotspot.

Jacques Bar has a warm and lively ambiance and has become a neighborhood favorite for locals and guests alike. With leather paneled walls, an antique mirrored ceiling, and a small marble bar, it's an iconic New York hotspot, perfect for a quick lunch or a private party. Share delicious mezze platters, charcuterie, and salads, or sip on expertly crafted cocktails – the Moroccan Orange is a must-try.
  • Who's it for?
The hotel is suited for many different travelers whether visiting for business or leisure. It is pet-friendly and ideal for families, given the Two-Bedroom Suites and array of connecting options. Guests who appreciate art and interior design will revel in the design elements and curation from the hotel's in-house interior designer, while those seeking a romantic getaway will appreciate the wood-burning fireplaces and other intimate details. The Garden Suite, Manhattan Suite, and Penthouse also make for the perfect wedding photo backdrop!
