For Amy, travel is more than a change of scenery. Each trip presents an opportunity to immerse oneself in other cultures, to learn, and to unplug.

Traveling to new destinations as a family makes for the most memorable travel experiences. Last summer, my family and I went to San Sebastien – a destination in northern Spain that truly has something for everyone. Our days were spent lounging on the beach, hiking through scenic trails, cycling around town, and indulging in local cuisine. From there, we journeyed to Bordeaux, to visit the vineyards and savor the delectable food and wine pairings. The trip concluded in Barcelona where we were surrounded by the city’s blend of historical architecture and explored its endless shopping options.
I always want to return to London! Part of it is purely based on ease, but it is mainly the culture, neighborhoods, history, and restaurants that keep me coming back. On my most recent visit, I spent time in Hampstead and Richmond, two vibrant neighborhoods that are easily accessible by many modes of transportation and full of things to see and to do. On my next trip to the U.K, I aim to make it to the Cotswolds!
Keep up with the places that deserve more than a bookmark, but a check-in.
