    COMO Uma Punakha sits in the Punakha Valley, one of Bhutan's most scenic areas, at an elevation of about 3,937 feet above sea level. The hotel is around three and a half hours' drive from Paro International Airport, the main gateway to Bhutan. Punakha Dzong, one of Bhutan's most important fortresses, and the Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten are both nearby, and the surrounding landscape features lush rice fields, flowing rivers, and soaring mountains, making it an ideal base for exploring the rich natural and cultural heritage of the region.
