Luz Wendlandt Espinosa Mexico City 1 Year of Experience Specialties Beach & Sun, Europe, Spa & Wellness

Fueled by a lifelong passion for exploration and an intimate knowledge of the world’s most extraordinary destinations, Luz specializes in crafting deeply personal travel experiences, from family adventures and ski escapes to romantic honeymoons and journeys across Europe and beyond.

Growing up abroad gave Luz something no textbook could teach: a genuine curiosity for different cultures, a comfort in navigating the unfamiliar, and an instinct for what makes a place truly special. She understands firsthand how transformative travel can be when it’s done right, and how overwhelming it can feel to plan it. That’s why she takes the time to truly get to know each client—ensuring that every detail—from the perfect ski chalet in the Alps to selecting the perfect secluded overwater villa in the Maldives—feels effortless and entirely their own.

Whether it’s a thrilling multi-generational ski trip in the Dolomites, a romantic honeymoon in Bali or the Amalfi Coast, a multi-gen safari through East Africa, a sun-soaked escape through Southeast Asia, or a carefully curated European itinerary woven around the things you love most, Luz brings a personal touch and a well-traveled eye to every journey she designs. For her, travel is not just about the destination—it’s about the moments that stay with you long after you return home.

Which destinations are you looking forward to visiting? Why?

At the top of my own travel list are Patagonia and Alaska—two places that speak directly to my love for stunning scenery, incredible wildlife, and adventures that push you a little outside your comfort zone. From trekking through the dramatic landscapes of Torres del Paine to watching grizzlies and glaciers in Alaska, these are the kinds of places that remind me just how extraordinary our world truly is.

What has been your most memorable travel experience to date?

If I had to pick one travel experience that has stayed with me, it’s Wadi Rum, Jordan. Something about the desert does things to you; the scale of it, the silence, the way the red rock landscape feels like another planet entirely. Lunch in a Bedouin tent, camels passing by, the chaos and color of the markets, it all came together in a way that felt completely unscripted. Wadi Rum is the kind of place that earns a permanent spot in your memory.

Travel Tip

  • Plan your trip around where you're staying. As someone who genuinely loves hotels, the design, the service, the way a great property can set the entire tone of a trip, I always start there. When you get the accommodation right, everything else falls into place.
