Singita Lebombo Lodge is a celebration of cutting-edge design in an African context where everything defers to nature. This dramatic lodge offers suites as well as a private villa, each of which gives guests a front row seat to the Kruger National Park with bold, contemporary, open plan suites suspended above the N’Wanetsi River. The exclusive concession lies in a richly diverse habitat, teeming with game, beneath endless African skies. This is the Kruger like never before.
African style at Lebombo has evolved where everything defers to the magnificence of nature in smart yet relaxed living spaces that merge with the colours, textures and sculptural shapes of the wild.
This boldly dramatic lodge, situated on Singita’s private concession in the Kruger National Park, is home to 15 loft-style suites. The design of these light-filled structures, floating between river and sky, was inspired by the many eagles’ nests built into the cliff face of the river bank. Sophisticated and contemporary, the glass-walled suites are romantic hideaways leading outdoors onto elevated wooden viewing decks where guests may sleep out with nothing more than mosquito netting between them and the stars. Throughout the lodge, the imaginative use of glass, wood, steel, and layered fabrics in muted shades invites the surrounding landscape indoors.
The main lodge area is home to a spacious swimming pool providing a delightful respite in the picturesque wilderness. Plus, a fully equipped fitness centre is available for guests’ convenience. Each facility provides picturesque views of the bush, allowing you to keep an eye on the action outside while you work out.
The Singita wellness philosophy creates an environment for urban-weary guests to reconnect to nature, revive their senses, restore their body and mind, and explore our African culture. The guests’ spa journey can be performed in the tranquility of the spa, out on a private deck, or in the comfort of guest suites. The products used are carefully selected for the positive impact that they have on our guests and the environment.
High-end, creative food is an integral part of Singita’s overall safari experience. Singita’s chefs go above and beyond to tailor make each meal to individual guest preferences. Bush breakfasts, private in-suite dining, sundowners, a boma dinner and bush dinner are all possible!
Singita is recognised as one of Africa’s most influential collectors of wine, with an extensive cellar showcasing a premium selection of wines, including some of the continent’s most sought-after private reserves, including exclusive release, limited single vineyard and rare auction wines. Singita’s experienced sommeliers are able to guide guests through a variety of wine styles, years and cultivars to find the wines most suited to their individual tastes.
