Agent Tips

  • Torrejas are a must-try at El Barrio. Topped with homemade whipped cream and marmalade, fresh fruit, and piloncillo-based syrup, these are the Mexican version of French toast and are simply divine.
  • Each ground floor room features a large terrace with an outdoor shower.
  • Don’t miss the empanadas at Humo topped with homemade chimichurri sauce. Fun fact: each empanada has to have twelve folds to close it, otherwise the chef throws them away as her grandmother does in Argentina!

In addition to the over 100 private heated pools included with some rooms and suites, Zadún also offers four pools to all guests: hydrotherapy, adults-only, El Barrio, and a whirlpool. A twenty-four-hour fitness center is available to guests featuring the latest equipment as well as a selection of fitness activities. A semi-Olympic-sized lap pool can also be found in the facility.

Three distinct eateries.

The Reserve offers three unique culinary experiences sure to delight even the most discerning palate, with a wide selection of options from salads to seafood to vegan specialties. Humo, Zadún’s signature restaurant, is a South American grill with the essence of firewood infused in each plate. For the best in traditional and modern Mexican cuisine, El Barrio is an all-day dining spot serving vibrant and colorful dishes. Lastly, Equis showcases the bounty of the Sea of Cortes with a fresh catch of the day, featured in dishes from ceviches to maki rolls.
Bar

Well-known Tequila and Mezcal to lesser-known Raicilla and Bacanora.

Strikingly designed, Candil Agave Bar is one of the Reserve’s most treasured haunts. With a wide selection of Mexican spirits, each signature cocktail tells a story. Our favorites are A-Maiz-ing, made out of a corn-based spirit from Oaxaca and paying homage to a Mayan God, and Lumiére, a Tequila blanco-based cocktail in honor of The Lumiére brothers — the creators of modern cinema.
