Our Top Booked Hotels of 2025

Each year, analyzing SmartFlyer’s top-booked hotels offers a revealing snapshot into where—and how—our clients are choosing to travel.

This year, booking patterns tell us a story of balance: a continued love affair with sun-soaked escapes, paired with a growing appetite for city escapes, storied European grand dames, and culinary-driven stateside stays. Through these check-ins, we see our travel trends echoed, with insights into both where clients have been and often, where travel at large is headed.

…the Caribbean and Europe tied as the most represented regions, each claiming seven spots on our top-booked list, followed by Hawaiʻi, Mexico, and a steadily growing presence across the mainland United States.

This year, the Caribbean and Europe emerged as equally dominant on our top booked list, each accounting for seven properties on our list, underscoring the enduring pull of both barefoot luxury and classic continental elegance. Hawaiʻi remained a perennial favorite with four top-booked hotels, while Mexico continued to deliver reliable allure along its coasts. Notably, we also saw a meaningful rise in mainland U.S. icons—from Florida’s revitalized resort scene to mountain retreats where food, wellness, and nature take center stage. All told, the Caribbean and Europe tied as the most represented regions, each claiming seven spots on our top-booked list, followed by Hawaiʻi, Mexico, and a steadily growing presence across the mainland United States.

While this list doesn’t fully capture the far-flung, multi-stop itineraries our clients explored across Asia, Africa, South America, and beyond, it does highlight something just as compelling: a portfolio of hotels that span generations, geographies, and travel styles. From legacy institutions with over a century of history to newly reimagined classics and modern trailblazers, these are the properties SmartFlyer clients returned to—and trusted—again and again.

Borgo Santandrea

Amalfi Coast, Italy

Freshly opened in April 2022, Borgo Santandrea has since shaken up the Amalfi Coast hotel scene in a big way. Perched above the centuries-old fishing village of Conca dei Marini, the property’s connection to its neighbors acts as a lovely reminder of how sleepy the Amalfi Coast was once. Today, the two owning families behind this project (a three-year renovation from its 1960s bones) have reimagined what a fresh, light-washed hotel in the region could look like. Aside from all forty-five rooms having balconies and sea views, we love the sexy beach club and private beach access.

Cap Juluca, A Belmond Hotel

A visit to the U.K. capital hardly feels complete without admiring the impressive facade of Claridge’s; but only once you walk under the Union Jack proudly flying at its entrance can one understand the magnitude of this hospitality icon. Clients gravitate towards its quintessential British flair, but that’s not to say the property is resting on its laurels. The recently renovated 7,000-square-foot spa required the team to excavate into five floors of London clay, resulting in a stunning center of tranquility evoking Claridge’s Art Deco history. On the exact opposite side of the hotel, our team recently scouted the property’s rooftop Penthouse, filled with 75 works by Damien Hirst.
