What has been your most memorable travel experience to date?

Some of my most memorable travel moments come from trips where luxury and a sense of place meet. Highlights include driving Ferraris through the rolling hills of Tuscany, a private multi-course champagne dinner deep in the Veuve Clicquot cellars, and flying over Milford Sound to see New Zealand’s fjords and glacier pools from above. I still get chills remembering a bagpipe band emerging at dusk at Hopetoun House in Scotland, and in Kyoto, Japan, visiting Kinkaku-ji before hours, with the Golden Pavilion glowing in soft morning light and its reflection floating on the water. Experiences like these shape how I plan for clients today, blending iconic highlights with special access and small, beautiful moments that stay with you long after you return home.

Which destinations are you looking forward to visiting? Why?

I’m excited about a few destinations high on my list, each offering a different kind of magic. Iceland tops it for dramatic landscapes, design-forward hotels, and the chance to slow down in nature without giving up comfort. Patagonia is another dream for its wide-open trails and lodges that make adventure feel calm, supported, and luxurious. I’m also eager to visit Namibia, where desert scenery, wildlife, and wonderfully remote camps deliver a quieter, more scenic take on safari. Finally, Bhutan calls to me for its mountain beauty and the way travel there is rooted in culture, tradition, and preservation. What ties these places together is depth and a strong sense of place. I keep a close pulse on new openings and emerging destinations, but I always prioritize experiences that respect local heritage and the natural environment.
